Devin Jacobsen was born and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His debut novel, BREATH LIKE THE WIND AT DAWN, was published in 2020 and called an “astonishing debut [,] a powerful and bloody Greek tragedy of a Western,” by The Herald and “an impressive, stretchingly inventive [novel], whose intensity will linger with you long after its close” by The Arts Desk. His fiction has appeared in Hobart, The Saturday Evening Post, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, and other places.
