Alix's first book, THE TROUBLES WITH US, was named one the memoirs of 2021 by The Times/Sunday Times, Sheerluxe and Stylist. A former freelance journalist, Alix wrote features for The Times, The Sunday Times Magazine, Style, The Telegraph, Stella, Marie Claire, Red, Grazia, The Pool, New Statesman, Spectator Life, the London Evening Standard, The Debrief and ES Magazine. She has reviewed the newspapers for Sky Sunrise and was a regular contributor to Sky News, and other broadcast media, and in 2019, had a column for Red on her family's search for the good life in France. In 2015, Alix was shortlisted for the Rosemary Goodchild Award for sexual health journalism and was runner-up in the PTC Most Promising Student Journalist category in the 2008 PTC New Journalist of the Year Award.
She lives in southwest France with her husband and two young sons, and is currently writing her first novel.
